We had a very informative and useful session with Cherie from the Hospital Passport Team from Leeds Teaching Hospitals this morning. She presented to a group of parent carers about the benefits of people with a diagnosis of autism or a learning disability having a passport to let the medical staff know the best way to support them.

She also described the carer passport. This passport enables carers to be recognised and feel welcome when visiting their loved ones in hospital as well as offering discounts. Click here to find more information.
