The National Network of Parent Carer Forums (NNPCF) has submitted its response to the Department for Education’s consultation on Education Otherwise Than At School (EOTAS).
Due to the timing of the consultation over the summer holiday period, Leeds Parent Carer Forum was not able to submit a separate response. However, we contributed to NNPCF Community of Practice discussions, including two sessions focused on the EOTAS consultation. The experiences and perspectives shared by Leeds families formed part of the collective response submitted by the NNPCF.
We know that EOTAS is an important issue for many families of children and young people with SEND. By sharing experiences through local and national parent carer forums, families help ensure that real-life experiences are reflected in discussions about future policy and practice.
