I am an adopted mum to a boy who has a range of special needs and am a parent-governor at his specialist school. I worked as a nurse for over 20 years in hospital and across the community. I also have experience of working in Primary Education however for the last year I have focused on supporting my family and building stronger links with the SEN community. We have a family dog called Benji who plays a special part in our family life.
